While we planned to be @ Zion, we hadn't planned our trails. Unfortunately it was a 2 hour wait just to even start the trail once you got to the starting point (it was being crowd controlled), so we had to opt for others.

We watched the cooking of the traditional paella no seafood just chicken and rabbit with lots of local beans delicious! There were others to help us eat it accompanied by delicious red wine

For Flashback and others visiting the Utah NP'S
We arrived at Zion a few days after the bus system closed for the season.
It was ( in hindsight) a master stroke.
Weather was mild , park was very quiet ( although parking was challenging) and the trails were all but empty.
World class day trails like Angels landing would be quite ordinary with tribes of humans on the trail.
We also rocked into Bryce just as the snow started.
A quick drive to the end and next morning it was closed for the season.
