The management of RooFlyer Gawker Industries moved onto their Buenos Aires office earlier this week and as far as I'm concerned, this is the only view that mattered (and not where you might be thinking, JohnM ) ps I didn't actually ask for the tomato, eggplant slice, carrot slice or leaf.

Other than the vegetative distractions, the steak was done jugoso, perfectly.

The management of RooFlyer Gawker Industries moved onto their Buenos Aires office earlier this week and as far as I'm concerned, this is the only view that mattered (and not where you might be thinking, JohnM ) ps I didn't actually ask for the tomato, eggplant slice, carrot slice or leaf.

My office this morning, and the weather just got better and better all day until our flight was cancelled. Just have to suffer here for another day

I took these yesterday arvo 14 May which are from the foreshore just around the corner from our place as we were heading to the dog park.

The islands in the distance in Moreton Bay are St Helena Is, Green Is & King Is to the right at Wellington Point. Behind those islands are North Stradbroke Is to the right and Moreton Is to the left.

I got a call from the MD of major client company a couple of days ago:

He: Maaaaaaaate - what are you up to?

Me: Oh, hi. I'm in Buenos Aires, about to fly to Mendoza at the foot of the Argentine Andes for a spot of Malbec and Pinot Noir tasting for a couple of days.

He: You know the pinots in the Canadian Rockies are really good, don't you?

Me: Well, yes, but they aren't at the foot of the Andes, nor are they in Argentina, whereas I am.

He: That's what I wanted to talk to you about, actually .....

(The conversation was nothing like that, really .)


So, 2 days later, the Management of RooFlyer Gawker Industries have made a sudden, unscheduled trip to British Colombia to [-] inspect Canadian assets and drink pinots in the mountains [/-] work, in exchange for an injection of funding which will go some way to pay for the current [-] junket [/-] study trip.
