The special livery marks the 90th anniversary of the first trans-Pacific crossing by Sir Charles Kingsford Smith.
The aircraft in that livery has been around since last year.
On 9 June 1928, Smithy and his crew landed their Fokker VII/3m at Eagle Farm, at almost the exact location where Alliance Airlines offices and maintenance facilities are today.
