Can someone tell me what this plane/airline is? Sitting at BNE airport.

The special livery marks the 90th anniversary of the first trans-Pacific crossing by Sir Charles Kingsford Smith.

The aircraft in that livery has been around since last year.

On 9 June 1928, Smithy and his crew landed their Fokker VII/3m at Eagle Farm, at almost the exact location where Alliance Airlines offices and maintenance facilities are today.

Our office in HKG (The Pier) on the way back to a few days R&R in Scandinavia, enjoy your flight over and hope the weather is OK for you! We'll be a few days behind you and will progress the Sloe Gin to the next phase of the distilling process once we're back in London Our flight boards at 00:00 but I think we will stay in the lounge.... toast the new year with a glass of champers and then head to the gate
