But today is a sparkler! Clear and sunny. I hope the fog has gone. It has been very disorienting.Afternoon walk with the heavy fog rolling in. Cannot remember ever seeing heavy fog in the morning and then returning in the afternoon.

I should have gone in. On our original booking we were supposed to be in Paris today! (That got changed when CX went flaky in Jan). I saw a crepe being made on TV with nutella - i remember lining up for those in the Latin Quarter two years ago. Sublime.Happy Bastille Day all

I bought a raclette a few weeks ago from the market. Still in its box. Saw it being served yesterday. I need a cheese fix. Smelly Cheese on Friday.I was too late to get the raclette and didn't have a crepe because I was going out for dinner
Did you ever go through Checkpoint Charlie? Much better than Checkpoint Melbourne. Very little to complain about IMHO.Passing through Qld “customs” at BNE airport earlier in the week. The number of times someone lined up down the side yelled “hold up your border passes” I felt like I was going through checkpoint Charlie
Mmmm now I’m going to have to find my photos of checkpoint Charlie and Berlin in the early 80sDid you ever go through Checkpoint Charlie? Much better than Checkpoint Melbourne. Very little to complain about IMHO.
Sounds like a sporting club ...Took a short break from my afternoon cycle to watch a formation flying display this afternoon.
