The view from my "office"

Spring! My own (miniature) peach and nectarines going gangbusters as usual at this time of year. They wake the bees up!

(C’mon, who has the full sized ones 😊).

Anyone who doesn’t know boronias is missing out on one of the joys of life. This little guy fills up my courtyard with the most glorious scent.

Where did you go for the fush&chups.. and was it any good ?
Swmbo mate recommended the takeaway fish shop on Cleveland point.. it was quite dreadful.

We went to Point of View at the Reserve.

it was “ok”. Fish fair, cod batter was very fatty but cod in crumbs better, whiting Crumbed was ok. prawns were ok as was calimari, chips ok. There are 5-6 fish and chip shops in Wellington Point village which maybe better.

We do a F&C lunch run with friends once a month or so, usually to points or coastal areas with water views roughly within an hour of western suburbs.

One garden nursery told me that (in Adelaide at least) we are wasting our money trying to plant them. I've had a couple last a year or two but nothing more

Here's a tip for those wanting to grow beautiful Azaleas - plant them beside your carport, bang them regulalrly with the car door as you get in/out, blast them with noxious fumes and forget to feed them! Works brilliantly.

Agree, despite what some might advise, I found them very hardy as long as you don't let them dry out
