My bad run continues, I can't get a car park view for love nor money - even at the HI at Dunstall Park in the resort* of Wolverhampton. Ever the eternal optimist I am hopeful that the Doubletree in Coventry will deliver tonight.



* I say resort because Wolverhampton is oft overlooked as a holiday destination. Admittedly since the homeless chap's considerable home built from waste and llitter was removed from the centre of the ring road, some of the charm has gone, but who can deny the beauty of the historic 1930's housing estates caked with industrial grime?

More bad luck, my last car park view was months ago. The Doubletree in Coventry failed to deliver. Back to the Hilton Garden Inn in Birmingham on Sunday - fingers crossed.
