Life doesn't get any better than travel in the UK at the moment. This view is from my ground floor room at the Holiday Inn, Junction 2 of the M6, Coventry in the UK.
It is all so delightfully bureaucratic, gone are the days of front desk staff knowing who I am, I have to fill forms in advising of my reason for staying, and some sort of evidence that I am allowed to be travelling. Apparently I am a key worker - which seems odd as I can't remember the last time I "worked" and have no idea what key means in this context.
Griselda has me staying at Holiday Inns or Hilton Garden Inns to "build my points". I have no idea what she is talking about.
