just to cheer him up I found a beautiful view we had at the Hilton Warwick a few years ago.

Now that is a marvellous view - I have stayed at that Hilton many times but have never been blessed with such and wonderful car park view.

The Holiday Inn at Dunstall Park came through - finally. I even managed a rubbish bin. Life does not get any better than this.

In other news Griselda tells me I will qualify as something called Diamond with Hilton again when I complete my Coventry stay this week. Not sure if that is good or bad. Also does 1.5 million Hilton points mean anything?

Sadly not so PERfect today Situation is rather grim with reports of homes lost. This morning fire fighting choppers en-route to assist. Currently, that's all smoke, not clouds as shown in the third image. I'm about 30kms away and ash is falling in the area.

Edit: just heard that a friend who lives in the area of the fires has lost her home

We have just heard that our friend living at The Vines, next to the golf-course, was evacuated at 03:00 this morning.

Sorry I’ve been busy smoking some venison to pull and making the corn fritters featured a month or so ago - drron is correct- came away with 3.8kgs of blueberries @$12- kg (+ the free ones eaten while 3 of us picked.... )

Well last night at 7pm at Mersey Bluff beach Devonport there were about 40 in swimming - and one girl was in a tiny bikini !! They bred em tough here !!

We were upstairs looking down from Mrs Jones Restaurant
