The view from my "office"

On first viewing, and before I read the rest of the post, I thought that building was a remand facility.
 
The line swings N from Southern Cross. Iron ore has long been mined at Koolyanobbing, but on a very much smaller scale than in the Pilbara,

Speed is highly variable through the journey. 165kph is the top.

Earlier today, some intrepid explorers and I went looking for an old cottage rumoured to be on a remote part of a property near Swansea, eastern Tas.

Found it - it appears on a map in 1859. The LH as viewed almost certainly demolished by flooding in the adjacent river.
