It was DAMN cold and raining, the grounds were very muddy, certainly not a place for some one who likes QLD Warm weather

My husband, daughter and I called in to Burnie on a cruise ship. I was busy in the craft centre so my husband inquired of some locals as to what was the best way to get to Rabbit. All the locals were quite perplexed until someone said "Do you mean Penguin?" Easy mistake to make.

I keep telling you to come down to the glorious east coast. My office today was near Runnymede, north of Sorell, where I was continuing my research on old transport routes and also surveying future dinner options. T shirt and shorts for me today - same as yesterday!

I had this overwelming desire to buy some mint sauce on the way home ...

I know Lamb Chops are everywhere at the moment but you can never say Tassie is as warm as the Sunny Coast.

Yes yesterdays highest temp for the State was 18C.Now us from the north do not consider that as even warm.true you do see even on the Sunshine Coast people out in t shirt and shorts on those sort of days in winter.But we know they are extremely likely to be from Tassie or Victoria.

Quite exciting today, a quite magnificent car park at The Hampton Inn & Suites AEX, I tracked down the truck driver to air my concerns about parking across multiple spaces but he was not prepared to move....or listen for that matter. The highway behind is I49 in all its glory.
