The view from my "office"

Seeing as WA would not let us in, and we missed doing the Silo Art Trail, I have bought the 2022 calendar. :)

I too happened to have an office in the same building yesterday evening. We just for the Howard Park member's tasting. Once again, an excellent and well run event. Unfortunately they let some riff raff free loader by the name of @JohnM waltz in. This disappointed was somewhat tempered as PJM was there to keep him in line.

We were way out of our territory this morning. North of the Swan River at Herdsman Lake nature reserve around 0800.

Looking past the paperbarks, the lake and reed beds towards Perth CBD.

The Ibis were out as well with a number of groups fossicking through the various mown areas.

From our bike ride this morning. A mob of kangaroos resting near the sand trap on the 13th hole of Melville Glades Golf Course in Perth. The bright yellow flowering tree on the right is the W.A Christmas Tree (Nuytsia floribunda) believed to be the worlds largest parasitic plant.

First Christmas markets for the year, somewhere a little more local. Kingston upon Thames. Let's see if any of the European ones we have booked over the next few weeks happen....

Thank you for posting those photos.

Lovely trip down memory lane. I grew up in Kingston upon Thames. Spent many hours wandering those streets and markets in my teens. And more recently have visited many times during our annual visits to the UK. Sadly no more.
