The factory tour was great. Woodroofe song? Which was the best lemonade ever.
mmm the memory is a bit vague about the Woody's song but I'm sure it would come back to me if I heard it

We drink woody woody woodroofe....rinse and repeat....because the flavour lasts so long.

Lake Elizabeth, the Otways.

This was a river untill 1952 when a natural rockslide occured creating the lake.

The lake can only be reached on foot and it is about 90 minutes to walk to it, around it, and then back.

This is part of our two week wander along the Great Ocean Road as we explore both it's beaches and many inland walks.

It looks so peaceful.
Very. :). Inland on much of the Great Ocean Road there is very little development. Mainly national parks, state Forrest's and farmland. The Otways in particular is mainly natural.

This was a pond on the way to the lake. Mirror smooth.IMG20220212125730.jpg
And a lovely walk in and out as well as around the lake.

We've recently discovered Carrum beach. Isn't it fantastic! The water is crystal clear even at the dog beach. A winner
We walk it most days, live 300 metres from the beach. Keast Park to/from river generally.

Wait until it rains heavily, then the swamp wetland outflow from the Patterson River murks it up for a week.

Or when the Patto river entrance is dredged - seagulls have a feast on crushed shellfish and the water goes black.

Have been walking since the first lockdown in late March 2020.

We walked the Kennett River Track today, which is a very scenic walk which unsurprisingly follows the river.

It is not that long, but the upper part is a lot less walked and is very overgrown in places with the lush vegetation.

The start of the walk is at The Great Ocean Road with the beach just on the other side. Good swell today and so the bodyboarding was great fun. :)
