So it’s Sunday - what to do? We decided to go and visit one of my favourite Pinot Noir wineries, Sailor Seeks Horse. I first posted about them about 2016 when we found them at the Dark mof_ Winter Feast.
It’s a bit of a hike ( an hour) to their place near Cradoc:
Another place that doesn’t have a cellar door so we had to rely on the signs put up for the weekend
I think that’s it …
Ah, yes, the ‘cellar door’
And the facilities:
Tasting room with a list of products and prices.
So @JohnM , you can see Why I was unimpressed with those Margaret River joints you dragged me around
Besides their about-to-be-released Pinot, there were 2 Chardonnays (low oak) and a 'methode ancienne' sparkling of mixed heritage.
Pinot was excellent and I bought 1/2 dozen @ $60 ea and even a $55 Chardonnay. @TheRealTMA would be proud ( or not ).
As you can see from the car park, some pretty high flying customers today
