Was pretty windy at our office on the weekend too in Regent's Park, lots of dry grass (given the recent heatwave) blowing across.

Son and DIL are currently in France in an Airbnb with a wonderful swimming pool. Took them 14 hours yesterday to get to the Chunnel thing.

Lovely, beats my current view of sewage overflow in the backyard. 1.5 weeks later and landlord next door hasn't done anything. Raised with Environmental Health at the council and also Thames Water in case they can somehow stop it from our side of the waste drain pipes.

Taken 6.15pm. I was down the far end which was quieter but the lounge really wasn't that busy. It was pleasant. It's 9.20pm now and emptied out further.

I'm still impressed with the food offering. Decent number of options but buffet food just doesn't do it for me. It's not that warm and not great flavours. Wine options are ok. Plenty of power points at seats and great views. Shower is good too.

About my favourite lounge outside Australia. Dunno why - but it has great views, decent plonk and never had it crowded. I like DFW. Maybe the AA Flagship at JFK, but when I visited it, it was very new and still with a bunch of teething issues.

@Mattg - just caught you briefly on the Channel 7 news (here in Tas). Wasn't watching (posting and reading here ) - what was the issue?
