The view from my "office"

No photos but just sitting at the lights and the man in the car next door was trimming his nose hair. Lights had just gone red so he had quite a long time and was very thorough 🤮
Was in traffic early one morning and young woman in adjacent car applying her make-up whilst driving!
MrsProzac sitting in bus on way to work and looked down to see man in car next door masturbating.

We were exploring the village of Heerewaarden, of interest to us because of mrs. jxv’s ancestral connections.

The only cafe was closed, but we are not sure we would have entered anyway, as the red sign declares: “Danger of collapse, enter at own risk”!

Nearby was the pier of a ferry service for pedestrians and bicyclists. Now, in the off-season, which had just started on 1 October, only operating on weekends. A little sign proudly announced that this ferry service had been in operation since 1004 AD! Not with the same boat though.

A few Dutch food related items:

The menu offered “ham with vegetables and fries”, but we did not expect this quantity.

The festive season has arrived early: the obligatory snacks in the lead-up to New Year, “oliebollen” and “appelbeignets” (deep fried dough balls and apple fritters) are already being sold.

Shower and dinner in the Qatar Changi lounge. Myself and one other pax here since the lounge opened 1.5 hours ago. Blows my mind that people don’t know about this as an option when flying OW J. For comparison, the QF J lounge was fairly busy.
