Well, not really AFL. More like former TFL. Rydges is built from the former 'Deaf dumb and blind institute'. When I was a kid, we used to watch the TFL games from there, perching on the fire escapes, without paying .

Lounge guardian must be a horrible job, sometimes. I think best control and most efficient is at DOH at the Al Mourjan J (original, at least) & Al Safwa F lounges. Each have a dedicated escalator going up to the lounge. At the bottom, young man in a suit, usually with an offsider checking access. Little chance of arguing past and getting on the escalator, but if you do, then you are checked again at the top, by usual very pleasant group behind the desk. Bad cop/good cop.

Or, like IST lounge, BPs on a scanner to go up the escalator.

At the SAS lounge they used the scanner control gates - scans the barcode on BP. 2 gates - one for the slum (SAS lounge) and one for the upscale (SAS Gold). Black and white

They didn’t ask. It was on the side. But eating satay for so long its of no consequence as I can easily get it on top with just the satay stick.

The office view is the same for the entire D seats on the upperdeck



The centre divider also does not stay up. So whenever I use the armrest the whole divider comes down.

The office was on the ground for 10 hours in SIN. No fix?

No tablecloth?
