We got here at a good time, plenty of space, brekkie still being served. Left as it was filling up.

At 10:15am it's a bit early for a G&T , so making do with a hot chocolate & Kahlúa with choccies from last night. This is the cove where Shackleton's men spent months waiting for rescue.

OK, so now it's 2pm so time for a G&T off Southern Elephant Island in brilliant sunshine and virtually no wind. Crazy.

I would honestly be in my short pants if I didn’t have several layers on and will need them shortly when we do our afternoon zodiac.

Easy 20min walk to hotel for me with HLO. Would be harder with luggage. I stayed @ The Pullman b4 trip and got the train from Mascot($12). So many options available. View attachment 362148

Checked out from Novotel 1050am. Walked to Wolli Creek station. Train to Mascot station $2.80. Walked to dom airport. Quickly through security. In biz lounge office 1150am. Easy

I have walked to the international terminal pulling a snowboard bag , but the 420 bus can take you to the domestic terminal.

Only problem is that suite was set for Adelaide temperature and was 14c when we arrived. Still haven’t managed to get it above 19. Heat on ac seems to not work and never turns off so blowing cold air all the time. First world problems.

Can you change controls to heat not cool? Sometimes have been able to manually fix it

Can you change controls to heat not cool? Sometimes have been able to manually fix it

Tried that but the heat setting just flashes kinda indicative of not enabled. Wrapped in dressing robes. Might need to be turned off for some time to swap between cool and heat. Heading for drinks in club then dinner soon so …
