Chiang Rai, I like it! Great hotel, easy to wander, no touts stepping out in front of you, very good hill tribe museum and a good attached not for profit restaurant serving yummy food.
Live music and they were good.... Happily come back here again.

The results of the floods 6 weeks ago, not so good, however except for the tide marks, given the cleanup, you would be surprised as to what happened.

I was in Yunnan province in China in the mid eighties, saw a few hill tribe people in some small villages, relatively quite close. I'll have to dig them out and see if I can recognise some of the tribes.

This afternoon’s “office” in Nannup: Nannup Brewing. However, we just found out all the beers are from Tall Timbers Brewery in Manjimup. (That is our next stop.). There is a smoker out the back though. Yumm! Great food menu here, too.

Good morning from Hilton hotel view of Vantaa airport HEL.

80% of my office time is spent mobile - hence this photo of "my office". Actually an office I have grown fond of. Despite current day-time temps around 42 degrees, this amazing vehicle has an aircon system that drops that to about 40. And although I may not have some fancy coffee machine thing, I do have a solar panel + fridge that I can park my 5 litre water cooler filled with ice and green cordial in .
