I logged back into cricinfo...lucky there was only 1 female staff member left when I let rip with a "You little %%$$ing beautyyyyyyy" that I'm sure the shopkeepers on the ground floor heard too - might have to go and apologise when I leave later.

A good start by the English, but an excellent comeback (6/68 after the Poms were 0/78).

Geez - can't believe the score. So is this a bowler's pitch or did Australia finally show some teeth?

Ponting proved he has some worth, taking a catch. Johnson has also repaid part of his earlier sins to take a swag of wickets.
