As I posted elsewhere my order of priority for travelling is Qantas<Virgin Blue<Jetstar<Flapping my Arms<Driving<Walking<Crawling<Tiger.

You forgot to rank "back of a cargo truck" :p

Clearly it's still too early in the morning. When I saw "Tiger" I thought he meant riding on the back of a Tiger....... then I realised he meant the airline!

I am going to send my sympathies to the staff of Brampton Island. Imagine what they put up with when those two arrived on the island. DYKWIA for sure.

Does anyone care to tell me what happened with the "6 hours?????" couple? I really hope they stewed in their own self-importance for the entire time...

I've watched a total of 3 minutes.

During which time I saw
- Someone complain and say they'll never fly Tiger again because they were late for checkin and got told "No, you can't come"
- Someone with broken wine bottles because they paid to check in a box of wine, but didn't pay for fragile handling/insurance.

Again, it seems like 90% of the issues with LCC is people not reading their bloody T&Cs. As someone who has had to deal in a different industry with customers unhappy with a product/service, after advising them against a course of action which they chose despite my expert knowledge I have no sympathy for these idiots - they didn't read their contract (or T&Cs).

I don't know of any other way to sign off then to say "Freddy Uncle Charlie Katie Them".

Watching the show now, love how they told the passenger with the broken bottles of wine that he didn’t pay a “safety fee” on top of the fee to check-in his bottles.

Why Sam :?:

He paid to checkin the wine but did not insure it. Pretty stupid really :!:

Bogan after bogan on tonights episode! made for a good laugh..
Glad I have never flown with them and never will...

He signed the liability release for checking in fragile/inappropriately packed luggage which states that the airline is not liable for damage. The info where one signs is pretty clear on that

I find this show quite amusing. Every problem is the PAX not the airline. Yes there are delays but we all know that this can happen so shouldn't plan to do anything that day. As for closing check in if we keep letting late PAX on how happy would be the PAX who have made the effort to get there on time !!!!!

I didn’t say it was bad did I? I believe I said I loved it?

I’d just think (though we’ll never know) he was probably not informed there was an additional insurance fee. It was only 1 bottle of wine anyway.

It’s still interesting to note that on Airline (EasyJet) the staff would do whatever they could to help, on Air Ways (Tiger) they don’t care. Though maybe this is more about the culture clash between the British and the Australians. It seems one clearly is better at service.

And if he had of opted to pay the insurance "safe handling" fee would he have still been asked to sign the same liability release?

That'd be good, pay us a fee to safely handle your baggage, but sign thsi liability because if it breaks were not taking any responsibility.  Makes a bit of a joke of the safe hanlding fee really.

I actually felt sorry for that blond chick who missed her flight, and whose friend subsequently got into trouble with anti-terrorism legislation as she parked her car in the wrong spot when she rushed back to pick her up. I mean, yes it's their fault and they certainly seem ditzy and all, but what a horrible day for them both!!
