Tiger new menu - some interesting items!

Menu looks great - prices fairly standard for an LCC and some smart choices. If I was stuck on a TT flight with a friend I've been very keen to drown my sorrows in a full size bottle of fizz!!

Definitely a step in the right direction for TT. Next step is to earn VFF points and SCs on TT flights.

I haven't flown TT in many years - do the crew all have the same coloured yellow uniforms now? Thats one thing I remember - everyone was a different shade of yellow shirt. Surely smart polos would be a practical solution for their uniform? They're not trying to be anything but an LCC.

I don't know if integrated FF will fit with the goal to keep the two airlines distinctly separated - it also would add to their cost base.

OK pedantic - almost everything on the tiger menu is better than the QFi breakfast. Sheesh. We were talking about airline food, not global poverty. You could probably amend millions to billions if you want to be accurate.

I think this whole board could be summed up under the "million on earth etc".

If you are so angry about everything said on here, why do you keep visiting? How dare we criticize anything the airlines do.

Feeding the trolls only makes them strong Docjames!

trust me....i'm never angry (I never mentioned the word)... most of the time i'm bemused/amused by peoples 'issues' on this website...i'm not a 'troll'...I just see things from the 'other side of the coin'..as I've worked on the other side of the coin for 25yrs.....BTW my polo shirt post was in response to someone raising the polo shirt 'issue'... this website is largely 'opinion based'..with a few 'genuine facts' thrown in...to be honest...I actually think that if people on here don't 'conform' to the opinions of the F/F 'brotherhood'...you will be branded 'unworthy of an opinion' ...it's a free/accessible website for ALL

I like Tiger. Would like to give them more of a chance but their schedules do not suit me.

But $11 for a roll? Is a little over the top but then we all place a different value on different things.

The $25 decline fee is interesting.

The airlines POS system doesn't actually process until after the flight (it's all offline midair) so the airline won't really know about a decline until well after the sale.

I guess if it's a one-off decline they could reprocess it with a $25 fee, but there's every chance that won't work either (especially if the card has been cancelled or something).

So do they add the $25 fee and pursue the customer by other means? All the info they may have is a name and email address which won't really do it. Could simply be an empty threat.

This will change in the near future to correspond with the rebranding into Tigerair.

Recent changes I've noticed have affected some of their attitudes and responses to certain issues. I'm thinking Tigerair (Virgin Blue MKII).

The way I see it Neil Perry is associated with QF, therefore Tiger, owned in part by VA, is taking a pot at QF. They are not likely to attack Luke Mangan because he is associated with VA. I suspect the thinking behind the comment is that people will associate Neil Perry with QF and have a little chuckle at the cheeky comment. :)

And the sort of people who are targeted by Tiger aren't going to know what happens on QF.
