An update on the tour.

Departing ADL at 08:30 sharp, (we have to leave early because the Clare is a bit further out than the Barossa) we head off for Taylors. The plan is to be at Taylors by 10:30.

Leaving Taylors at 11:15 we make the short (about 15 minutes) journey to Pikes Wines, a James Halliday 5 Star Winery.

Departing Pikes at 12:15 we head to Paulett Wines where after our tasting session we shall have an enjoyable lunch, which is included in the cost of the tour.

Come 2:00 and it’s time to leave Paulett and head to SevenHill Cellars where you might want to pick up some museum release wines. I must add that I am waiting for confirmation re Sevenhill from our project manager Aeolus who has “Plan B” should Sevenhill not be available so stay tuned.

Although this tour is a little more expensive at $90 per head than previous tours as we need to hire the coach for an additional hour or so, it still represents exceptional value for money. And don’t forget that lunch is included in the cost of the door.

All I have to do now is consult with the Activities Coordinator for some things to do on the coach. If you have any suggestions feel free to send me a PM.

For those flying home on Sunday there will be an airport drop off between 5:00 and 5:30. There will be another drop off near the Hilton and the final stop at the pick up point.

The pick up point is at the same location as previous tours – outside the Convention Centre on North Terrace. For those that have not attended previously, the Convention Centre is just west of the Casino and Railway Station and is easily accessible by tram (free within the CBD). If you are catching the tram, it will travel along King William Road and turn left into North Terrace. Alight at the first stop which is opposite the Casino and Railway Station.

Please do not be late for departure – we are trying to get 4 wineries into this trip and it is further out than the Barossa Valley. We really need to keep to a schedule.

Hopefully a TryBooking link will be put up later today for ticket purchases. I will also organise a Saturday night get together for anybody interested. A link to a new thread will be posted here soon.

I'm bronze, unavoidable family commitments. Unexpected trip away.
Sorry Buzz

Buzz, you've done it yet again...! These tours are brilliant value, thinking of bringing some champagne to this one for morning tea...! (seems only natural for such an event )

Thanks for making room for the unnamed...

Edit: Booked & paid for 2 pax...
