“Qantas has announced the retirement of long-serving director Todd Sampson after more than a decade of service, with former HP boss Dion Weisler to take his place on the airline’s board. Chairman John Mullen said a “significantly refreshed board and executive team” would help the airline regain its place as one of Australia’s most trusted brands.”
I’m amazed his tenure was extended after overseeing the demolition of the Qantas brand. He should’ve been sacked at the same time as AJ and Goyder.
I sincerely hope Qantas can turn things around, but it will take a long time to restore the same level of trust pre-AJ/Covid.
