TomCat's new digs!

Productive weekend here.
Crepe Myrtle planted out the front.

Dishwasher secured in place so no more runaway drawers. Extra power points added to kitchen island. Scotch guarded the couch, assembled a cradle for the little one (the one my mum used for me).

Got the whipper snipper up and running. And found a buyer for my car!

I’m liking the cradle. Now, we need to see the bedding on it......Interesting times. It seems your dog is completely ignoring the cot......

Apparently hard to find a mattress for a 30+ year old cradle. Think I’ve tracked one down but then linen is a problem. This is for downstairs, we have another we’ve borrowed for upstairs.

There's such a thing as custom cot mattresses and travel mattresses. I don't know about the costs involved. How about a sheet of rubber from Clark Rubber or another supplier that you cut to size yourself?

They call it the great Crepe Rape in the US , there is a long standing tradition to prune, and there is also a strong argument against it.
The one I prune should not be there as it's too large a shrub for the location so it gets an annual haircut.
It has spawned many progeny that are scattered around the farm , all in places that will permit size.

Is Clark Rubber still in business? With retailers going bust it is hard to know who is still around and Amazon is taking a while to get going in Australia.

Sounds good on all fronts! Car and all. That will be a relief as you can fit things in the garage now. :)
Cradle looks lovely - my sister in law had a similar looking one. It is compliant with current safety requirements I assume? The only reason I mention it is that one our relos has stored a pile of furniture in my mother's garage. Among the things is a cot that is now over 100 years old and of course it is totally unsuitable to be used at all, but the relos want to sell it as an antique for big money. Too dangerous IMO. And it's not even a very nice looking cot!
