I remember when we were first married we rented a half house in Carnegie (Vic). At one stage we had a dart board hanging on one of the doors (as you do). When we were leaving we thought we had better paint over the panel where the darts that missed the board landed. Assumed it was a white door but as the house was very old, the white had turned to a grimy cream colour. Never mind, the owner never even went inside and just gave us the bond back. House is long gone now.
Hopefully if you ever need to touch up the paint BC it will still be the original colour.

It is getting exciting BC & TV. All hanging out here for the build to start.

All wasted on me as I couldn’t see all that much difference really.

I think it’s designed to make you buy paint, get it home and see it’s a total mismatch so your idea of patching isn’t going to work, so you either try getting a closer match or end up painting the whole damn wall. Either way it gets them extra dollars. Fair Bianca is my main color throughout.

I've spoken to the owner so hopefully between them and us, their builder comes cleans it up. Otherwise we report to council.

Unfortunately the budget doesnt stretch to $300 for sheets that wont be used often; the $50 500TC kmart ones are actually pretty nice......

I decided to have a look at the Kmart linen. Dipped my toes in the water with some pillow cases. After washing and ironing a set, they actually feel quite nice (so far). I’ll ask last nights guest how he found them.

BTW. The Sheridan sheets at the outlet stores can be pretty good values at times.

Can't find the colour I want in any store despite the website saying they have it in stock
Yeah Sheridan outlet can be good. I also dont mind Cotton House or David Jones brand sheets. The problem for me is I don't use a top sheet so the sets are a waste of money, I just need a fitted sheet and pillow covers.

yes - would like to not have visitors, because I am anti social, but can’t see that happening . I am getting more ruthless by the day, although sometimes I feel I am just rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic .

We love having guests, and have 4 spare bedrooms decked out. Our dinner parties are pretty epic so guests do need to sleep over.

Mind you, I won’t get up early on Sunday mornings. Mr ALH cooks a Full English breakfast and I stay out of it.
