TomCat's new digs!

Exactly. I want to raise it as a health/safety issue given we dont know the origins. How are we to know it doesnt contain asbestos or something else nasty?
The first house we built, we always had one patch that had a lot of rubble in it and nothing would ever grow, even after we cleared out the rubble. I reckon they had thrown out something very toxic on that patch. After about 10 years and lots of attention, new soil etc it recovered :(

Fortunately all the Brickie sand was where the driveway is as I've heard that can impact your garden.

We had one of those in our front lawn. Took years and years to get grass to grow. Last year we had success. We presumed a tradesman cleaned paint/plaster/something in that area.

Love the timber colour.

Poor love_the_life has been following this story from the start and she’s missed the big day. Serves her right for taking a fabulous luxury cruise to Antarctica.:D

Just finished reading this - so congratulations for both news items. I suspected something when you said you could only take Panadol. :)

I must admit I thought it would all have happened while we were in Africa, so surprised it’s only just taken place. I am sure it will be fantastic to have such a wonderful home to raise your family :)

I thought you were vertically challenged? If yes, the Le Creuset on the top shelf worries me (Im 5.11 and been smacked in the face with a pyrex lid from that high) but then again, toddler proofing the house early :)

I'm a decent height for a female.

Nup. Actually we are similar heights I think. And that looks fine. Maybe not in 3 months time. For BC not me. 5’11 - ok, you aren’t.

How things have changed. I am 5ft 7 and when I was growing up I felt the clumsy giant in our class at school. Now most of the current generation are taller than me!

Same here except it wasn’t until Year 11 I shot up.
