Work/school is done. Officially on holiday, even though my brain checked out 2 hours ago as soon as I finished my test.

A couple weeks after that JL was available to be booked and a quick call to AA sorted that out very quickly including the connection down to FCO. We had done it. Booked F almost around the world. One AFF event in MEL we were talking about the trip with Boomy who suggested connecting on BA from Europe to lower the taxes out of LHR. Now we had checked originally but nothing was available at the time of booking. However we dug back in and started looking at Milan-London flights. We managed to add a (Y) flight which left us with a 22:30 transit for extra points, a change fee, and an $880 refund.

And that was the ~16 month process

I had the same seat on SQ238 a couple of days ago. As I was the only person in F it didn't really matter what was on my boarding pass!

I did this exact flight in F a year ago and it was by far the best service I've ever had. The FA Fiona was absolutely amazing to the point that I sent feedback to SQ about her. I recently flew EY F and missed the SQ service. You're in the air now and hopefully having just as good a flight as I did.

Landed at SIN, crew were amazing (no surprise there), had a decent sleep. Currently in The Private Room and have acquired champagne. Will post some photos after breakfast.

You did keep your TPR invites didn't you? Sometimes they grab them off you as you enter TPR - if they did just go ask for them back as you want them as souvenirs.
