They didn't give you Gold BPs at check in MEL? That is not unusual - I regularly have to remind them they have printed BPs on incorrect stock - SQ take a really dim view of this - go see the lady on podium at entrance to TPR she will get it fixed for you.

And ask the girls serving you in TPR to bring the PH Rare bottle to your table - they will oblige.

We were checked in by the J desk so she had to grab the stock from the F desk. She also had no idea about the invites and insisted the BP was sufficient. Will chase down the bottle on the next pour.

Yeah, I will. The check in staff at MEL seemed a bit hopeless really.

Are the staff in MEL check in the contract folks from dnata ? It takes a bit to print our Suites boarding passes over here in Perth for our runs from SIN.
Will be interested in your drinks preferences so keep those taste buds tuned.

Fruit plate to start. I also had the lobster posted earlier.



Bed once it was made up. A little on the firm side, but certainly more than adequate.

TPR breakfast. I had the roti with fish curry to start. Really yummy dish with a good bit of heat.



Followed up with the French Toast

Eeyore found some new friends.

I also found the bed a little firm as a side-sleeper but was adequate to grab a few hours (until the kid next to me got excited about the game he was playing). PJs are comfy and the ladies amenity kit looks a bit classier than the boys.

Yes MEL check in is contract staff - they can be very hit and miss. But SQ are quite clear on protocols for ALL check in agents in ALL dep ports - yet MEL / SYD continually are the dep ports that never comply.
