Top Three Holiday Photos

@Cossie I really like the rawness of your Tibet photos especially the third one, thanks for sharing. All I need now is some photos from Bhutan and I have all 3 on my list.

I'm loving this thread - it does make you think. But must finish my Antarctic TR before I start posting on here

Xishuangbanna, southern China, 1984, people shots. A very hard life for a lot of people.

...

These and the Lhasa shots were scanned from slides then cut down, so a lot of resolution has been lost.
They look good.

Modern scanners (epson photo for example) do fabulous jobs of scanning old slides. I’ve scanned slides from ‘78 (12 at a time) on our scanner with colour correction (fade) and noise and scratch removal with IR scan, and the results are quite impressive.

Saturday morning trip to Bunnings Vancouver didn't go to plan

What is the context of the Vancouver photo, is it a film shoot or something? I can't make out what sort of trolley that is in front of the police car.

By the way as another sad, deluded Saints fan, I like your profile avatar!

Europe Trip 2011

Ludwigsburg Palace - just outside Stuttgart. I had the best Guided Tour ever of any European palace or castle there.

Fontaines de la Concorde - funnily enough in the Place de la Concorde Paris.

And as a break from the historic or scenic photos one of the good points of overseas travel - meeting people.

Sharing Raclette and good beer and wine at my wife's, about 25 degrees removed, cousins house in Wehr - Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is about 10 kms away from the Rhine and the border with Switzerland.

Hi all

I was recently inspired by the amazing photos that were displayed in this thread -

So many amazing photos taken by us as a group and I'm sure we would enjoy traveling through everyone's photos. Therefore, I though that I would start this thread with limited rules.

Post only the three photos from one round trip that you like best and share it with us all.

I look forward to seeing some amazing photos.
