Top Three Holiday Photos

While I have hundreds of favourite holidays perhaps visiting family inthe Congo was the most exciting! Especially the10 minute flight on board an Ethiopian Dreamliner between Kinshasha in the DEC and Brazzaville in the Congo that barely rose above the mighty Congo River..

1923 Pvte C W Oates, 36th Battalion, missing in action on the night of 21 July 1917, believed killed. Thank to a very accurate map in the AWM we know the action he was involved in occurred on this farm near Quatre Rois, Belgium (with Messines Ridge in the background).
