Yes, which is what got me concerned, because it has been well over 8 weeks for one of those flights, and still no bonus credits. Instead I am now asked to prove that the TP is legitimate.I would expect the DSC to post within 4 or so weeks

apologies. I misunderstood the situation. thought you meant nothing had posted within a few days - as is usual for other DSC promos.Yes, which is what got me concerned, because it has been well over 8 weeks for one of those flights, and still no bonus credits. I was also waiting more than 8 weeks for DSCs from a TravelPass to arrive, so yesterday I emailed QFF and provided details of the flights (dates, flight numbers, from/to), along with copies of the following emails that Qantas had sent me:That makes no sense - if QF don't know their TP THEY issued is legit... how are you supposed to? Even if you provide the opt in confirmation email showing the DSC offer - if they don't have that detail notated in their system then it comes down to your word it seems/ how weird.![]()
Huh. So I guess the email I sent to QFF wasn't required after all!Qantas did a batch yesterday so my double SCs from early November just posted.
or maybe your email reminded them to do a batchHuh. So I guess the email I sent to QFF wasn't required after all!
The missing DSCs from my flight on October 2 were finally credited today. I think they were just missed and triggered by my email containing all the proof they asked for.Qantas did a batch yesterday so my double SCs from early November just posted
This was my experience too. The early October flight DSCs were not posted and required a follow-upFlights from earlier in the year posted correctly but recent flights from early October haven't posted
Hmm. I tried a dummy booking out of Taiwan and I do see a UATP option (logo next to all the other cards). I would presume the Qantas Pass would work here.I tried to use my Travel Pass recently for a flight originating outside Australia but there was no option to us it on payment page. Completed a Qantas feedback form & was told I could have used it. Rang premium line and they said I couldn’t use it outside of Aus. Can’t see anything in T & C. Anyone have any experience of this?
Thanks, didn’t realise I could have used UTAP. Lesson learned & DSC lostHmm. I tried a dummy booking out of Taiwan and I do see a UATP option (logo next to all the other cards). I would presume the Qantas Pass would work here.
If you missed that though, I can't blame you since the Qantas instructions tells you to select "TravelPass/Credit" on the payment screen, which obviously doesn't seem to exist for overseas points of sale.

Yeah, the Qantas Pass is just a UATP card that can only be spent with Qantas. Of course, it's possible that it wouldn't have worked on the non-AU Qantas websites, but I believe it would given this comment in the T&Cs which imply it supports other currenciesThanks, didn’t realise I could have used UTAP. Your TravelPass is issued in the currency as displayed. If you'd like to use your credit for a booking in another currency, you may be charged a currency conversion fee.
Thanks for your insight. I tried to chase DSC that I would have earned via premium line who said pass wasn’t valid outside Aus, then filled in feedback form & they obviously did not get what I was talking about. Have used several passes before so was surprised by different payment page. Guess I’ll put it down to experience& hopefully no one else gets caught.Yeah, the Qantas Pass is just a UATP card that can only be spent with Qantas. Of course, I still think this is somewhat Qantas' fault given their instructions (from what I can find) all state you must select "Qantas Pass" on the checkout screen, which isn't really true for non-AU websites, but unfortunately I doubt you can get Qantas to let you retroactively use your pass (and even if they do, the manual process will likely break DSC and you'll have to chase that up)
No sign for my Christmas flights...Good to see finally a batch run appears to have happened last night. Finally got early Dec qualifying DSC show up overnight. I was just starting to twitch a little bit but all good now.
