Trip of a Liifetime

This is proving really awkward to put together. My search results provide just two airlines to use, Qatar or AA. I find the oneworld sub difficult to navigate with so many side conversations. The valuable information is lost to me. ☹️☹️
I will revisit in the new year I think.
Once you have a date in mind… hopefully say 9-12 months before you want to fly, you can look at options. If you are flying economy class there will be lots to choose from…Qantas, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Japan Airlines, etc.

You may need to search via the ‘multi-city’ tool, choosing Australia to the relevant hub city, then onwards to Europe. So for cathay you’d choose Australia to hong kong, then hong kong to Europe. You might need to fly as far as you can in europe and then buy a cheap connecting flight to Ireland. If you overnight in Europe you’ll make sure you get your connection and not have to worry about delays. For example fly Cathay Pacific to Amsterdam, stay at one of the cheap airport hotels and next day fly to Ireland (separate ticket, paid by cash)
