Triple status credits on Virgin Australia

I’ve been having issues with the Business Portal, so my booking was done via standard VA website and just added my ABN.
I couldn't remember if I'd added the ABN so in a moment of OCD-induced panic, I once called up to query if I'd added the ABN and if such a booking would be applied to the business account. It was confirmed that I had, it would, and it did.

Just completed a trip CBR-ADL (via MEL on the outward and SYD on the return). Triple SCs posted for both journeys the same evening. My wife retained WP with the outward journey. Then she family pooled the return to me which meant I also retained WP just in time for my 30 June review date.

very well worked, switching over to pooling before return journey took off.

Don't know if I want to thank you or not. :) I had a thought that my ABN possibly wasn't in my TSC booking, so I called. First got them to check if it was in 2 prior bookings "ABN - is that Alpha Bravo November - part of the booking reference?" Put on hold.

The first 2 did have an ABN in, so we moved onto the TSC booking. Had to confirm the name on the call each booking (my name ...). Gave the ABN twice; put on hold. Agent not trained, so put through to the business people (which, to be fair, I should have called in the first place). They then added the ABN very quickly. 15 mins for the call. Must remember that Business Flyer number!!

PS: As I found out previously, Business Flyer will add ABN on a booking not made within the business portal, retrospectively, and it counts.

I’ve just found that I booked the wrong return flight from OOL, so changed to an earlier J flight. Do I lose triple credits?

The reason I ask this question here is that lounge staff have no idea and the Velocity call centre is closed

Sorry, I don’t even know what the booking reference is. It doesn’t seem to be on my boarding pass
It will be on your boarding pass under "PNR"

If it was a cancellation and rebook of a new flight, then yes, you'll likely not be eligible for the triple SC. If it's simply "fly ahead" and the lounge staff moved to to the earlier flight, then you should be fine.

Ah, I get it now. Booking reference hasn‘t changed, so should be okay. Hopefully
If you’re flying today, by previous accounts here you should know pretty quickly if the SCs posted correctly!

They cancelled my MEL-OOL sector weeks out but I was able to rebook on a better flight combo.

Was relieved to see my first lot of triple SCs drop this week after SYD-BNE-TSV. Returned today so will pick up the rest soon. I was concerned that I hadn't properly activated it before this booking as the "Activate" button still appeared but it was there the whole time so I needn't have worried. Two more return flights by the end of July should see me to WP with Virgin for the first time.
Question: if my renewal date for Gold is Feb 2025 and I qualify as WP by August, how long does my WP status last? Next August or Feb 2026?

The date you hit WP becomes the new expiry the following year.
