So the hercs can carry APC's and Bushrangers, but you can only have 2 bags! Wow.One 7kg and one 23kg.
AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements
A couple of APCs is easy - in, in, out, out. Many people with many bags, eats up time. RAAF would have to find a balance between pissing people off (HLO) and flapping around when time is short dealing with the bags.So the hercs can carry APC's and Bushrangers, but you can only have 2 bags! Wow.
No idea. Their goal is to return us to Australia safely, and all we know so far. I suspect they return to Brisbane or Amberley. Glad my car is in BNE car park.Is this cost worn by the government or is there a fee involved?
Obviously these flights return you to BNE and then on your own steam?
Sounds good. Be interesting to see if any cost involvedNo idea. Their goal is to return us to Australia safely, and all we know so far. I suspect they return to Brisbane or Amberley. Glad my car is in BNE car park.

Got friends holed up at the Sheraton near Bourail who reckon people in Noumea are getting out first. And they are way down the pecking order. No seat out today, I suspect they're getting the elderly and those with children out first.
The RAAF B737s (vip fleet) not available, apparently.Would be interesting to see the seat map for the herc. I'm wondering if J is 2.2.2 or 1.2.1?

Starting to se
Looks like some people from a certain nation is going to grow up with food allergies again because they overreact too much to even the mildest form of stress or threat
Does that mean no more flights from the RAAF and they have handballed it to the French?
Can you please provide me a link to this new commercial policy?Look there are worse ideas but question is a cruise ship willing to partake... probably not.
Interestingly I've seen on smart traveller they've bumped it up to a level 3 warning (reconsider need to travel), some travel insurance won't cover those who travel to areas with that level (obviously not a problem for those already there) but an issue if that level doesn't drop after reopening.
Qantas has also put out a new commercial policy with anyone travelling up to 30 June that allows for a rebook (+/- 14 days), a credit or a full refund. Air Calin on the other hand is only offering rebooks/refunds for flights actually cancelled by the closed airport.
