I sent an email using my QF WP (OWE) status for a match. Received a +ve reply 2 days later, matching to '' Elite Card '' level, so am *A Gold til 31.05.2014. Does anyone know if they will send you a card automatically?

You must have an impressive travel record? Or does it seem that "making a case" is not a big deal? (Did you have to write some sort of "request email" - sounds like applying for a job... )

Not really...Just said I am planning to fly to Europe on Turkish and its *A partners in the next year or so:mrgreen:

I sent my request on the 19th, with statements and scans from EK Gold, QF Gold, NZ Airpoints Gold and SAS Eurobonus Gold. Got an email back on the 25th asking me to attach cards and statements (even though I had already) and sent back on the same day.

Have heard nothing since. A few people on Flyertalk.com have said they apply the match without emailing you back but so far i've gotten nothing.

www.shipitto.com - that's it. You have to get a form notarized and send in to their security department. It's a bit of a pain.

How do you get a Hong Kong address? From what I can find it's only a US address that this service provides.

I was matched yesterday... Took a few emails, I had attached both Virgin and Qantas stuff, but they kept saying we only do OWE. So a few emails later, and only Qantas card and statement, it finally worked. There is very little on my statement as I don't fly Qf that much anymore. So for those of you who think you don't have enough activity on your QF statement, just send it anyway. 2 years a *A gold is an offer too good to pass up!

Applied 25th May received Elite status today. I have been a member of TK since 2006 and have some history with them. Sent QF Plat and Flying Blue Plat. QF statement had 10 sc for the month but showed 2460 expired the previous month. Will post if a card turns up in the mail.

If you want to match to SAS and need an HK address, happy to provide mine, and then my parents will forward the package to me and me to you, just send me a PM. anat0l, I think, did this a couple years ago to get BD status I think.

My dad did the SAS match as he's in HK and got the card and tags in the mail not long after.




Extremely annoying since i've provided them with SAS Eurobonus Gold and AirNZ Airpoints Gold statements and cards.

I sent them another email with the statements reattached asking them (politely) to look at it a little more carefully.

You need to credit a flight. It's in their T&C.

How do you proove your elite status, particularly to other carriers? Or is the status not actually conferred until you credit a flight to TK?

If you have been matched, you have status. You dont need to credit a flight my comment telates to getting the card. With respect to lounge access, it may be worth in getting an email confirmation from TK. Not sure if a printout of your account is acceptable.

I might take you up on that offer, but I'm not sure I will 'get' anything from TK or SK which which I don't already 'get' from SQ (or *cough* COdbaUA).
