TV series discussion {'ware Spoiler Alert}

I enjoyed the season finales last week of Arrow and Flash. DC Legends of Tomorrow ended in the previous week. There's plenty of speculation already about what will happen next season. This was the first season I was able to watch all three shows less than 24 hours after the US air date. I hope Foxtel continues with this practice. Rumour has it that next season there will be a major crossover story involving 4 shows, Arrow, Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl. I'm looking forward to it.

My interest has been speculating the other 2 dragon riders. Currently thinking Bran and/or Jon Snow. But the little man has to be in with a chance having freed the other 2.

And I guess Benjen is undead as well really.

Tyrion will not really interact with the dragons this season according to reddit user truede.

I have read some of the spoilers, but without revealing too much, the last episode will be massive with Bran finally seeing what is in the Tower of Joy.

Apparently truede accurately predicted things in True detective and has been accurate so far this season, leading to speculation the leaker could be POTUS or at least someone from HBO.

Someone has to let them out of the dungeon.

Thoughts how Arya will fare against the waif? Will the waif be successful and take on Arya's face? Reading the books again I'd love to see Arya meet up with Jon again.

I think Arya will win out and I wonder if Jaqen H'ghar will pursue her.

I think Arya will be unleashed next season.

Jaime could be the next King with no legitimate Baratheon's bloodlines to be left by season's end, if you believe the rumours.

I took Tyrion unchaining the two dragons to mean they've been released.

I also think Arya will win out, and I think Jaqen H'ghar is fine to let her go.

Isn't Jon Snow's parenting rumoured to have a greater claim on the throne than any Baratheon. Hence why Ned claimed him as his own illegitimate son despite his wife's wrath.

I found True Detective easier to predict. I'm still dirty on POTUS for being given the full session in advance.

I confess that I don't actually watch Game of Thrones but I find some of the discussion interesting. I'm confused by the POTUS reference and the connection of this term to Game of Thrones. I learnt on "The West Wing" that POTUS meant President of the United States but is there another meaning or is the current president a GOT fan.

EDIT: Sorry, just realised that POTUS was connected to True Detective which I don't watch. I'm very confused

One and the same Obama was given the full GoT series on DVD in advance. It would seem also for True Detective.

I've not heard POTUS in reference to GoT so presume its an ironic one.

Isnt West Wing the best ever? We have the box series.

Ok. So how do the dragons get out? Too big for the entrance now. Back door?

It's about rules of succession. At the moment it is a Baratheon throne now and thus goes to the person with best Baratheon claim, even if they are not a Baratheon by name. Any Targaryen restoration means a Targaryen needing to conquer the Iron throne. It is questionable what/when Bran does find out the full truth.

As a result, will Jon make a play for the iron throne or rather team up with Dany, for the expected final fight of the living versus the dead. In the end, the Iron throne doesn't mean anything till the White walkers are destroyed.

At the moment just started watching Orange is the new black.... Not sure if it yet... Only up to episode 2

Dragons are powerful creatures, that door and stone wall isn't going to hold them. (but yes an assumption)

Not ironic at all:

I can't remember, is that blacksmith's apprentice still alive? You know the one that got 2 hand's of the king killed.

We haven't heard of him since he boarded the little sailing boat in series 1?

Gendry was last seen in season 3 and last mentioned season 5. It doesn't look likely at the moment he will/can take control of House Baratheon/Iron throne. First problem, he is not legitimate and the second problem he has no following.

With no army/money who would want to legitimise him? Certainly not Dany, whose family was nearly wiped out by his. Maybe Arya will convince Jon to back Gendry? Another long shot, is that the high sparrow brings back Gendry, perhaps to stop Jaimee taking the throne.

Just re-watching last week's GoT. The best bit was the music when Benjen rescued Bran - Very 1970s, very monty python :D

Ok, so:
How did Arya get sucked in by that old woman?
What's the hound going to do, after he cleaves a few heads open? Find Ayra? Join the Starks?
Why aren't the starks selling the dead are coming story to the North? It's far more convincing than join us because we said so.

Arya, I don't think she realised the Waif was after her.

The Hound, I think he will do some damage to the Men without banners but will probably get captured and find himself in Kings Landing.

The dead story is hard to sell. Just look at the Tarly family scoffing at the notion of White Walkers but the wildlings having seen the threat, pledging to fight.

Looks like Sansa is asking Littlefinger for help. Queen Margaery the long con. Looks like Brienne will meet Jaime next episode and their will be some combat between the Tullys and Freys/Kings Troops. The Mountain will see action as well.

3 more episodes but everything pointing to a 'cough bowl'. Hard to say which houses will join Jon but hopefully the Tullys and the Vale can help.

That's what I don't understand. She's a smart girl. She saw what they did to her when she was one of them. How could she not realise there'd be payback?

King's landing is the obvious destination. But I wonder if he'll try for something different.

I guess my premise is the north know that white walkers are real, even if they are denied. People in the south can be expected to forgot, but not the north, not deep down.

Yep, Sansa is going to used by littlefinger, again.
Margaery is awesome. Proud Grandma knows she trained her well. But that nun/minder should've had alarm bells ringing when grandma is arguing and then suddenly just agrees.
