TV series discussion {'ware Spoiler Alert}

Star Trek the all new Star trek is something I am very much looking forward to, since Star Trek: Enterprise concluded in 2005 it's been empty. Its said to premiere on CBS in January 2017 before moving to All Access, the series will introduce new characters to the Star Trek franchise and will not be related to the 2016 film Star Trek Beyond.

When it will be in Oz is a big question

Netflix Australia will be showing the new series. Be interesting if our net can handle it or just keep buffering.

Good news.

Edit: but this is the best bit -
Netflix is also gaining access to the entire back catalogue of Star Trek movies and all 727 episodes of the various television series.

That's gotta be good ... Star Trek Heaven

By the way when is The Big Bang Theory coming back ? Or is it?

Perfect news ......like a comedy that makes me laugh this one does it particularly well. Although the last seasons story line was being stretched a little. Still fun.

There was talk a few months back that they would do another season.

I am waiting for the DVD next month as I haven't caught every episode this year. I have still enjoyed the ones I have seen.

Thank you for this information. I've been trying to find out for months what the international release deal would be. I don't have Netflix yet but I'm planning to have it by January next year. Now I'll just have to watch out for bargains on Netflix subscriptions. Must get myself a tablet as well so I don't have to watch on my smartphone.

The article says episodes will be available soon after the air date in the U.S so I won't have to wait until the end of the season to get everything.

Anyone started watching Stranger Things on Netflix? I was hooked after the first episode.

Is the show which has a name similar to "Jessica Jones" still showing on Netflix? As a bonus to the Star Trek subscription I'm hoping to see that as well. I'm looking for the Netflix only show which has David Tennant in it.

My (sort of) namesake certainly is still available. I have watched a few episodes - it is quite dark.

Through some deal with VA I got six months of Presto for free. Couldn't find anything much to watch on there until we found Mr Robot. Am working through series one so hope to get through season two before the sub runs out. On our Optus Fetch TV box we can open Stan or Netflix but not Presto so we have to do it through the laptop connected to the TV. Be nice if we could get it through Fetch. Fetch is great for catch-up TV but for some reason doesn't have Channel 9, not that we watch much on Nein anyway.

Yes, binged on Stranger things over the weekend.
As usual - left open for the possibility of season 2

We are big fans of "Madam Secretary" which is in its 2nd season I think. It's been interrupted, had time changes. Grrrr. It's an ongoing problem across all stations. You wonder why free to air channels bother to pay heaps to buy the shows then stuff the viewer around. Any wonder we search for alternatives, obviously no one in their accounting dept talks to their programming dept. MrMac is obsessed with counting the ads - generally 15 in each break.....another reason to look elsewhere

Just finished Bosch S2 - best thing I have seen in a while, am also enjoying The Grinder (got pretty good reviews but wasn't renewed unfortunately).
