TV series discussion {'ware Spoiler Alert}

We are enjoying the British version of House of Cards.

With the rubbish on free to air, what would we do without Netflix?

Billions on Stan is also good.

Does anyone else enjoy Upper Middle Bogan on the ABC of a Wednesday night? We stumbled on it a few weeks ago. Hilarious.

I enjoyed the first season and the most recent season. Some of the episodes in between were average.

Anyone watch "Black Mirror" which is on Netflix now? Third series just finished airing. We only discovered it a week or so ago and have worked our way through all but the last two episodes. It started out on regular TV (UK Ch 4) but the third series is produced by Netflix. They're all Twilight Zone/Outer Limits type self-contained stories mainly dealing with the effects of technology on humanity in the present or near future. Some episodes are stunning, others less so although there are some very polarising episodes. We've more or less given up on The Walking Dead this season and this has replaced it nicely (not that it's about zombies!).

I didn't much like the first ever episode but since then I've liked or loved most of them.

Black Mirror was WAY too dark for me. I got through the first few episodes of season 1 but couldn't keep watching.

On a lighter, fluffier note, I am enjoying the first season of iZombie - the same writer who did Veronica Mars.

There was one episode of season 3 of black mirror (the kid that works in the fast food shop) that utterly messed with my brain.

I was left totally gobdmacked by it.

It left the opening episode (the UK PM) for dead!!!

Yes it does that. White Bear did it for me. No spoilers!

Best series that I have watched recently:

Bloodline
Marcella
Broadchurch
Paranoid

All crime related shows by pure coincidence... and Stranger Things.

Broadchurch Season 3 should air at some point this year. The creator says this will be the last season of Broadchurch. He'll be rather busy with Doctor Who soon.
