Started watching American Gods last night. Despite its good ratings, I didn't get through more than 15 minutes. Definitely a series on the fringe.

New season of You, Me, Her now on Netflix.

It's a fun watch, although does contain adult themes.

I earlier commented I don't binge-watch.. but the wife and I have been watching this during the past week.

I have been told not to get any ideas!

Lovesick. About a young bloke who's told he has chlamydia, and he has to tell all the girls he's hooked up with in the recent past.

Told in flashbacks and present day. A lot of crass profanity and humour. Nothing tawdry though. Good laugh.

Finished Line of Duty 2. Now into Series 3.

We just finished series 3 last night. Sadly evidently we will have to wait till 2019 for the next series

Tried to watch the first of the new series of The Handmaiden's Tale last night. Made it half way through then gave up and deleted the rest.

I actually quite like it.

It is certainly different and is quite a dark and sombre tale, and as such it moves at a slower pace. It does deal with a number of confronting issues though.

Yes Scrotal Recall. They changed the name when it was picked up by Netflix. I guess for American sensibilities.

I didn't know they screened it in the Concorde Room!

Finished Westworld this week. Hyped for season 2. One of those shows you have to read up on after each episode to see what you missed. Some people go through these shows with a fine-toothed comb and get every detail.

Also finished The Leftovers last week. I'm sure it's an acquired taste - know a few people who gave up in season one as it was too depressing but I found it uplifting really. Good to see Australia portrayed realistically (as opposed to the fantasy American version) in season three. One of the best series we've watched.

Does anyone else watch Little Lunch?

Good fun.

My girls used to watch it. They loved it and found most of it fun and silly. I just felt awkward and uncomfortable watching it. I've mostly just watched bits and pieces of the episodes.

I have seen all of the 2 specials they made later about Halloween and Graduation. I managed not to cringe too much during them.

I actually liked the last part of the graduation episode. The children worked together and really supported each other. I think I even cried at the end. I wish real life could be more like the end sequence of that story.
