They seem to have the problem at both ends. I was promised a callback twice and never got any. Has anyone called you asking for exceladdict instead of ozmatt?

Haha not yet. The stupid thing is, once I say I already now have a policy, they say 'oh yes I can see that here'! Ummm - if you can see it, why did you call me?

I got that same call... apparently I must have looked at the price, then did the actual quote later, and so they thought I was two different suckers... errr... 'customers'.

Cheers,
Matt.

Finally got around to following this up. "No physical (sic) way they can give me the points due to the new promotion rolling out" despite my complaint about them never calling me back.

New promotion is between 5k and 50k points based on monthly spend on insurance. He ran through the tiers quickly, for the 50k points it was over $100/month in premiums. Ew.

Minimum monthly premium in order to earn Qantas Points is $40. To earn the maximum 50,000 points minimum monthly premium is $160. Points will be credited over 5 months, in 4 equal monthly instalments which will commence after the policy has been held for 60 continuous days. To receive each instalment of Qantas Points, the qualifying premium must remain the same and payments must be up to date. Not available to existing Qantas Assure Life Protect policyholders or those who have held a policy within the last 12 months.

Hmm...so if we signed up prior are we still eligible for the 30k points? I thought I took a screenshot but can't find it.

The program started beginning of March. Those who enrolled early would be expecting their points about now. I will have the 60 waiting days ticking over in 2 weeks.

Day 65 here - no points, despite it saying they should be credited after 60 days - have emailed them but no reply yet

That makes more sense then, and is closer to what I saw today when attempting to plug the details in and get a quote for these things.

The current signup bonus for 100,000 QFF points is far more than the whole $30 per month thing. 60k was about $150 per month, or thereabouts, if I remember rightly.

Interestingly, the new promo states: "If you join Qantas Assure Life Protect by 19 May you could earn from 10,000 points up to 100,000 points on premiums from $40 to $160+ per month when you join and hold a policy for at least eight months."

But then since some of you folks signed up before then on the previous promo, I would assume the terms and conditions are now different, in which case surely this shouldn't apply?

I haven't received my points yet... but I'm waiting patiently and my premiums are low so another month isn't going to hurt me.

Another month is fine for me as well. it is already factored in when I decided to sign on. I just don't want to see them renegade on this deal.

My balance in the Assure app increased by 30k points today. Hopefully they will be in my QF account soon

Thanks for letting us know and congrat. Points from the app is transferred to QFF account on a weekly basis. You should see them in your QFF next week.
