It's roughly 66 days since I signed up and I emailed them yesterday to enquire when the points would arrive. The reply (the same day!!) was as follows:
Thank you for your enquiry.

Your sign on bonus Qantas Points will be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account once your policy has been financial for 60 days.

As you joined on 28th February, 2017 your sign on bonus Qantas Points will be credited to your account on 28.02.2017 + 60 days. Please note that your Qantas Points can take up to 14 business days to appear in your Qantas Frequent Flyer account.

The Qantas Points you earn through the Qantas Assure App will automatically transfer to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account every fortnight.

If you have any further enquiries, please don't hesitate to contact Qantas Assure.

Thank you.

Kind regards,
So I suppose I should see them in the next 10ish days. :) They can't come soon enough as I want to book an OW 35,000km J trip ASAP!

I like that they were too lazy to tell you what date +60 days would be. Bless.

Nothing for me either yet. Has been 63 days since I took out the policy so would hope to see them soon!

Have you checked to see they are pending in the QF Assure app?

Where in the app does it show pending points? I see my total earned at the top which is like 2200-ish. I had assumed that the 30k would be added on there followed by the usual sweep at the end of the week?

It's 60 plus 14 business days.
I'm around that time (I can't be bothered calculating exactly) and as of last night, the ap is showing 30,xx_ points. Nothing on qf.com yet but I figure it should only be a few days and I'll start looking at my 280K point OW 35,000km J trip. :)

Not a huge deal unless I end up having to pay another months premium but that not what I was told by the agent when I took out the policy. Was specifically told that the points would hit my QFF account on the 61st day.

Oh fair enough, that's annoying. I suppose you've got an excuse to cancel now. If you can't trust the call centre people, you can't really trust their product, right? Having said that, it might just be easier to ring up and simply say you've "changed your mind" which is my plan.

Get ready for the ear bashing eh! Hope they have their cancellation scripts ready as they are going to get well used in the weeks to come! I am thinking I will just be up front once I have the points to try to shut them down a bit (ie I already have a policy through work which is cheaper and I am only here for the points champion!)

I've considered the honest approach but I figured they might put me on some black list, or demand the points back. My plan is to simply say "I've changed my mind...(silence)" and if their next question asks me to elaborate I'll simply respond with "no particular reason... (silence)".
I figure that if I'm as weird as possible, the person will just want to end the call asap.

As mentioned earlied... I think a signed letter to the email address will suffice. If they call my standard response to other companies is "I'd rather not go into it". Makes it sounds personal and they usually dont dig any further.

My points finally hit my QFF account last night.

Your total earned will end up growing to include the 30k, but as the transfer isn't instant as you earn it I referred to that as pending. It's a total amount you have earned, but perhaps not received.

When it starts showing there you've got about a week till it credits.

My points also hit my account last night.
I'm undecided if I'll cancel today or Monday?

I'm not sure how much you paid, but if my premium came out again I certainly wouldn't complain.

Plus, as I was already using the health insurance, I'm currently getting double points on all my move goals so I'm really cleaning up. I might keep it for a little while and cancel further down the track.

Or I could even cancel now and re-sign up with a slightly better policy, instead of the cheapest I could get the quote.

Assure App was credited with 30,000 points tonight, woot woot. Will wait for the points to credit to my account before cancelling. 30k points for $21, not bad, not bad at all :D
