Just received a txt saying my FRA-LGW on Monday has been cancelled (by LH, received a txt from them), however the link it says to click on for more info says it's still running. Think I'll just deal with it at check-in in NRT in an hour if I need to.

oh. I thought you were travelling in the next couple weeks - in which case there should have been an express ticketing fee. The $50 is standard.

You were right...when ticket was issued there were 'extras'. However, the taxes slipped down to around usd134.

Well, we ended up getting rebooked on BA. What a shame.. booked into a revenue bucket:

Can anyone tell me what the D or the 267 means ?
TG471 BKK0800 – 2000SYD 744 267
TG475 BKK1920 – 0720+1SYD 744 D
267 = Tues, Sat, Sun; D = daily, would be my guess.

I know the above only applies to May at this stage, but I hope they don't reduce much more than this. I'm on TG472 in September on a Wednesday (day 3).

Jnr#1 chucked a tanty the other day, (we were out at breakfast) when I told her our flight may be cancelled and that if there are no seats left in F, we will have to fly J SYD-BKK. She seriously stomped her foot saying "but I paid for first class!". Hilarious - so precious (and embarrassing).

This is what AFF creates (by proxy) ;)

I'm booked to fly on it on Sat, 29/06 in J (United award) so I'm getting worried, too:mrgreen:

Re: US Dividend Miles - post your SUCCESSFUL award bookings here.

I'm really finding the points i bought late last year about as usful as t*ts on a bull :(

Do some dummy booking on life miles and see I can do the trip quite easily.

Ring us airways and nothing available.

Is there an easy way to determine just what availability us airways does have for trips outside the us?

I was looking to do BKK BCN LHR in march next year

There's reports on FT of trips not being able to be booked next year with "the merger" being given as the reason by USDM agents.

Oh to have the same number of life miles right now.

Oh well, I can only hope things get easier in a few months, though i wont hold my breath

I was on 472 on Sat 25th which they canned, have us now on 476, means a night before in Syd but more time in the F Lounge in BKK :)

If you're not doing a stopover... I'd suggest openjaw'ing and flying CDG-BKK or FRA-BKK and make your own way from LHR-CDG, much cheaper!
