Is anyone having trouble bringing their booking up on US Airways? Could see it a few weeks ago but just received an email for a schedule change (doesn't appear to have changed it all) but just wanted to confirm.

I've read this thread with interest, and I'm hoping that the 100% bonus is available again. Thanks to everyone for sharing your wisdom and experience which I hope to use in planning my trip to the US in November 2012.
There seems to still be seat availability according to ANA at least outbound for my intended itinerary: MEL - BKK (TG), BKK - HKG (TG) <overnight> HKG - ICN - SFO (OZ) destination then JFK before returning to MEL via ?NRT. Does this itinerary in J look possible within the rules of US Dividend Miles for South Pacific-US award redemption at 110,000 miles? I'm aware that only one stopover is allowed per itinerary but it must be on two different continents, so if I want to include both the east and west coasts of US, the open jaw is my only option. I hope to have an overnight or long transit in HKG as a shopping bonus!
I'm getting an error using Chrome to download the awards PDF - 'Cannot retrieve normalized object.'
Is this just me?

Same error for me using Firefox.
"Save link as" in Firefox is working fine for me.
you can have EITHER a stopover, OR an open jaw... not both. you can stopover on the same continent as your destination if you want. for example, plenty of people I know fly to shanghai, stopover, then continue to Beijing.
Thanks for clarifying, MEL_Traveller! So it shouldn't in theory be a problem to have NYC as my final destination from Melbourne, with a stopover in San Francisco? Or would US Dividend Miles insist that I fly in via LAX? I'm trying to find routes on ANA or Asiana rather than Air NZ or United.

that's entirely possible you might even get to enjoy US airways' service across America! (probably the only person on here to ever do so!! )
I am getting very rusty at these bookings but maybe I should call from a proper phone line instead of a dodgy 3G connection.
Just rang US and attempted SYD-NYC looking at 2 F seats. The agent offered to check and couldn't find anything via LAX, so I offered my routing SYD-BKK-FCO-ZRH-NYC instead and he insisted I need to travel via the west coast USA There's only two outcomes; either they are trying to clamp down on these routings or I might just have to call back later

HUACA:!: :mrgreen:
hmmm... interesting. someone over on FT was saying that an agent told them they could only follow routings suggested by the star alliance tool (that was someone posting today I think). so maybe they are clamping down now??
otherwise there have been plenty of reports stating that it is possible to go via Europe... but I am pretty sure that routes to the USA via Asia should be ok (in fact I was offered one just the other day flying syd-icn-lax... there are lots of connections available out of NRT for example...
WT:?: :?::!::shock:
