US Dividend Miles - post your SUCCESSFUL award bookings here.

Just booked our second redemption for July/August this year for 2 pax:

SYD - LAX UA J (Destination)
LAX - ICN OZ F
ICN - BKK TG Y (Stopover)
BKK - SYD TG F

Originally I had ICN - BKK in J but when I tried to ticket it last night there was an issue. So we held the booking till today but had to re-book the whole routing as they had ticketed Mrs Diddy under her maiden name. In between all of this we lost the J availability but I wasn't too fussed for the flight duration. Taxes were $165.11 + $50 booking fee so $215.11USD in total.

Happy that it all worked out in the end and looking forward to our next trip on USDM :)

Nice find!

Thanks - Was very lucky to snare that as it was the only flight within our window that had premium availability. The others had been snapped up over the course of the last month or so.

Now just need to sort out the Citibank PMG for MEL-SYD return and we'll be golden :)

hmmm indeed! :) did they send you an itinerary and does it have everything in the right class?

Haven't got an email from US Airways but logging into my USDM account I can see all my flights in all the right classes. Have confirmed that the SYD-LAX flight is showing on the United reservations. Can't check Thai cause their PNR url is down at the moment (known issue). Haven't checked Asiana as in my haste I forgot to ask for the e-ticket numbers - unless there is a way you can check with the Asiana PNR only (I think if you're a member then it will allow you to do that)?.

Will ring them up again to get those e-ticket numbers and will ring each individual airline to confirm directly as well.

I should also add that I have seats assigned for all flights except for the LAX-ICN flight

yeah. you need the ticket number for OZ seat selection if you're not a member.

a friend of mine was in the same position... incorrect miles but USDM had only booked coach!!

Just booked 2 J/F flights from my brother and father to join my mum and I for a trip to Italy in June.

PER-BKK (J)
BKK-FCO (F)
FCO-BKK (F)
BKK-PER (J)

All on Thai Air Metal. Such an easy redemption. Only took 20 minutes. I think it was around $130 per pax in taxes and 150 000 points each

If the Check My Trip is not working on thaiairways.com go to thaiairways.com.hk which seems to always work. Thais IT is horrendous.

Just checking that a 1hr 25mins is enough time to transfer in BRU (arriving Thai) for a SN flight to LHR.

Any help much appreciated.

Cheers,
Aaron

The MCT (Minimum Connecting Time) at BRU is 50 mins so 85 would be considered pretty comfortable.

Thanks Flashware.

I'm also looking at a SN flight later in the day (approx 6hr layover instead of 1h 25m) to Birmingham.....just in case the 1:25 isn't enough time. Do they have a *A lounge at BRU we can smooch around in for a while?

Cheers,
Aaron

BRU is SN's hub so you'll have access to their lounge there.
