Utilities thought Paypal

Hi,

i have the Amex platinum charge card - just wondering if paying 0.5 point merchants such as Telstra or utilities would only reward 0.5 or would it be higher?

No experience with the plat, but my Plat Velocity (which is meant to pay 0.5 on utilities) pays 1ppd when paid through paypal.

Cba diamond paying at "normal" purchase rate. Not discounted utility rate.

I always get 1ppd when paying Telstra via PayPal on my Platinum Edge.

How do you pay Telstra by PayPal? I have never seen that as an option.

Just login online to your account and go to pay. You will see it as an option.

Note however that you cannot set it up as an automatic debit.
