Is anyone in the lounge yet? Oliver, Grant? I'm in the little group of four lounge chairs on the platform near the food, tapping on my iPhone and iPad. (There must be a better way of meeting AFFers you don't know.)

I am in the lounge, but am catching up on some homework. Maybe next time. Where are you sitting on the 77W?

Sitting here in the lounge, trying to catch up on some of my Year 11 homework. But I am getting distracted by some DJ AT7s.

Lucky it is a public holiday in MEL, as I would be in school if it wasn't.

There are still seats left.

Come on guys, when will you be next able to board a flight from Gate 85 at Sydney airport? :D

Is there a gate 85 anywhere at SYD.. have you been drinking? :p

In all seriousness, the shop a docket says gate 41 .. the b*s gate. Promises to be a fun little ride! :)

Was handed one of these upon boarding a b*s. regulatory requirement? JQ don't do it for their int ops on Dom segments!

Does this mean we wont be able to take over 150mm of liquids or whatever the limit is?

No you should be able to as you are technically departing from a domestic terminal.
Unless boarding by stairs from the tarmac, this may be a poor assumption.

If the passengers have to enter the international terminal departures area, then they WILL be subject to the normal security screening requirement of that terminal which includes limits on liquids (over 100ml, not 150ml), aerosols and gels. It makes no difference where you check-in or where you get on the bus. If you need to enter the intenational terminal departures area you are subject to LAG limits.

So, those onboard, did you depart from the inside the international terminal deparures area (as Domestic passengers) or via stair from the tarmac?

Nope. Bus from gate 41 to stand off bay near the pond. Currently enjoying my J seat being towed in to DJ terminal. Disembark via jetbridge too!

Edit it's stairs. Bridge at Dom can't go up high enough!

Was a fun flight - cabin crew were awesome! Currently waiting to disembark at MEL .. the air stair operators appear to be struggling a little..

Sorry missed you Tim . Had probs with iPhone connecting to AFF , so just catching up on all the posts now . I'm doing a quick turnaround on DJ849 @ 2pm . If any AFF's are in terminal or same flight tap me on the shoulder and say Hi. Wearing Purple checked shirt with virgin Active backpack .

Currently sitting at the front of Maccas , having a Mac attack

Lol here's one of my pics - the reason that it took so long to disembark - the 777 is too high for the aerobridge! Haha... epic fail :p

EDIT: Can anyone actually see that pic, or did it fail miserably? Haha

Sent from my iPhone using AustFreqFly app
