Perspective: VA roll out 'The Business' which is ace; after promising us all A330 Syd/Mel and initially Bris to Perth. Now the backpedal. If I had a redeye booked A330 on The Biz that transformed into 737 I would punk right out.....

Reading this thread had me worried because I have a J redemption booked PER-BNE in February. Decided to check the booking and plane changed from A330 to 737. In fact all direct flights then are now showing 737 - no A330s at all.

No notification provided.

What are the odds that if I cancelled due to a 737 being subbed, I would still have to pay cancellation fees.

Not impressed.

It seems a bit this way.

I've been keeping an eye on my booking BNE-PER-BNE in March and just had my PER-BNE flight downgraded. BNE-PER is still showing as a 330 though. It's a shame as even though it's a day time flight, I'll be coming back from a wedding and probably would have enjoyed a solid nap. Hopefully I get to try it at least on the way over.

There's no 330 alternative that day or the day after and coming back PER-SYD/MEL-BNE is not really an option due to timing so I suppose I'll just have to cop it. No QF award availability that suits either.

I might shake the feedback tree and see if anything drops out.

Very disappointed :(. Our flight to Perth from Bris on 31/1 for our honeymoon has been downgraded from a330 to 737. Return flight is still on a330 at this stage... I will be very annoyed if we miss out on 'the business' both ways for this part of our honeymoon!!
