Anyone curious there hasn't been more promotion for the new route, such as a sale fare or even a mention of the flights on the airline's website? It seems strange to have announced MEL-HKG, commenced ticket sales and then ... nothing. Am I missing something here? Interested to hear your thoughts out there.
Has anyone managed to find any reward availability? I've been waiting for this route to go on sale to burn a bunch of points on a J reward return in July. I did dummy bookings all through the year and even up to Jan 31st 2018. Nothing.

If its all a leisure trip, you could go via NZ one way maybe? Was thinking just the same thing today. Where's the promotion ?? Such a shame they don't done fly Fridays to HKG or Sundays to Melbourne. Hopefully it will go 7 days a week once established
