First dose of Pfizer a few days ago. Recovered now, but had the most horrifically sore arm the next day. Also felt fatigued and generally unwell (bit like a shocking hang over) and slept very poorly the night of the vax. All passed within 48 hours.

My wife and I joined the AZ Club early this afternoon. Nothing at all yet in terms of a reaction and so just have to wait and see over the next 48 hours now.

Maybe you’re in the placebo group...24 hours up, and my wife and I are both 100% symptom free. Even the injection site is completely normal.

Hope so as we have had no adverse reactions to yesterday's shot at all.The thought did cross my mind.
Though my daughter in her late twenties, a nurse, also had AZ and was symptom free as well. Many of her colleagues were not though. So maybe just genetics.
Oh past 48hrs now, which is evidently the period when symptoms most likely are to occur.24 hours up, and my wife and I are both 100% symptom free. Even the injection site is completely normal.
The online registration process to get a booking was impossible for me. So I called 02 5124 7700 at 3.20pm position 57 today and was in position 3 at 6.11PM; posn 16 4.55 and about to hang up after a 3 hour on wait call. There was no message or hangups after 5.30PM. Posn 10 at 5.02 posn 1 at 6.20-6.50pm. May as well bake their call waiting times. At the hospital there was no form to fill in and leave - to get a callback. Yep. Making it hard.I am the same - AZ at ACT vaccination centre at Calvary Hospital.
Did you need to bring a health summary from your GP?Oh and I should have added some comments on the process:
It was at a Respiratory Clinic In Rowville (Melbourne SE Suburb), Victoria.
We chose to drive out from an inner suburb rather than go to the larger hubs.
They requested that you just arrive on time and NOT be early.
Ample parking.
The clinic was in marquees.
No queuing. Fill out forms including waiver on arrival after having completed an online form earlier. Virtually no delay on being seen by the nurse for the vaccination who there just ran through all the questions again. Painless injection and then 15 minute wait. 30 minutes for some depending on answers to questions.
While waiting they booked you in for your second shot.
All very slick.
Mood of everyone there getting vaccinated was pretty positive and cheery.
New Scientist , the magazine strongly suggested a good sound sleep before the injection, and inferred no vitamin deficiencies - so been on zinc and Vits D that contain B12, C and Mg for absorption. In Brazil, they swear fresh coconut juice is beneficial. And their was a disputed finding in Russia about very high range blood alcohol is a bad thing.Had first AZ at Jeff's Shed (MCEC) today ... booked 1130am and was out 1205pm.
They had free parking vouchers for DFO and MCEC.
Slightly sore skin at injection - no other issues.
I heard on the ABC last night that Calvary had been booked solid now until sometime in June. We registered online on 4 May and had the 'invitation to book' an hour later. At that time, slots were wide open this week and forward. I think we were very lucky to have got in early. The online registration process to get a booking was impossible for me.
