That's quick off the mark.

I also bought 40+40 yesterday @ lunchtime and no miles are posted as of now.

But the transactions did go through as when I tested by buying some more, I got an error message saying "you had bought 80,000 miles for this year".

I bought 40 + 40 yesterday. The 80,000 have posted but not the bonus miles as yet.

From what I've read around here, the bonus miles can take a while. Would love some input on the expected timeframe from others who've done this before.

Thanks people. I know it is 60K in J and 80K in F if you transit via Asia but we were all talking about using EY which means you need to do 2 awards - Aust-Middle East and then Middle East-Europe in F how many points is that. Someone posted above that it is 75K in J.

Well I guess if you're thinking Australia - Middle East then Middle East to Europe, then the calculation for one passenger in J one-way would be:

• South Pacific to Indian Subcontinent / Middle East: 45,000
• Indian Subcontinent / Middle East to Europe: 30,000

Total cost is 75,000 in J one-way. For F, it's 100,000.

For reference the direct South Pacific to Europe prices are 60,000 in J and 80,000 in F.

Aus - Middle East in F is 60k.
Middle East - Europe is 40k.

Also 60k in J and 80k in F is not only for via Asia but also on QF1/2/9/10 even though these transit through DXB my understanding is that they are available at the lower rate as they are on the one flight number all the way from Australia to Europe.

How do you account for $778.99 from LHR in J for one ticket? The APD adds approximately GBP 200, so say about $400, then the UK PSC adds another GBP 80, so say $160. That's $560 - where's the other $210 or so?

Only things I can think of is that I've missed another large tax along the way there. Or, you are flying British Airways: YQ is chargeable on redemptions on BA, but the remainder seems too small for the predicted YQ amount.

I'm in the same boat as you. I had a look at the thread from the last bonus - which I think was in December - and people are only just getting their points now. Looks like a 4-6 week wait based on that

Yep, my 40K + 40K points posted on the 5th but I still don't have the bonus points.

Doubt it has any relevance, but I've already used the 80K points for a redemption.

Still waiting, seems hit or miss, my wife bought after me and has her bonus points. Lucky I don't need them until July
